Description
Calling this the Third Wall since it is up past the Second Wall. The wall is low angled with lots of potential for slab climbs, protectable via some horizontal cracks and a couple other weaknesses. Beware of the moss and lichen that this wall is currently covered in. It has certainly seen less traffic than the second wall and has some wet spots in the spring.
Getting There
Park at the same spot as you would to get to the second wall (by the ballfield in Jamaica, where 100 meets 30). Walk on the same path that gets you to the second wall, and then top out on any of the routes at the second wall, or merely scramble up between the "Threading the Needle" and "Mother's Day." Surely other methods for gaining top access exist... Once at the top, head uphill and climbers right from the top of the wall harboring the climbs from Mother's Day to Little League. Within a 10th of a mile you will reach a green mossy slab with a distinct rock sticking out with an underside shaped like a near-perfect trapezoid. If you see this you have made it to the right place. This wall is likely the longest and most continuous in the area, with some clean up it could have lots of potential trad climbs.
