Description
Huge features, easy-moderate climbing on short <50' walls. Definitely old, definitely much less used than the high rocks up near the parking area. Nice bolts all around, some of them however are super sketchy to access via the blazed trail so take your time and watch for loose leaves/sticks. The landing areas are not much better cleanliness wise but are way bigger and safer than the high rocks. Super low-key most of the time and much cooler in temperature since its right next to the water. Pro tip: don't forget the hammocks, and pack a lunch.
Getting There
I'm sure that all the routes at the Lower Stover rocks have already been ascended and named. However currently Mountain Project didn't have a thing labeled down here.... so I figured I would try and help out.
Follow the yellow blaze from the 'High Rocks Vista Parking Area' past the main Ralph Stover climbing area. After a little more than a half mile you will come across a very open matted down area of trail right near the lower stover rocks. From there you can head down the bouldery path to the right down towards the river, or continue on the blazed trail to access most of the top anchors on the right. Some bolt access points are sketchy so be careful.
