Description Suggest change

The bouldering off of Fall River Road is by no means a huge concentration, but there are just enough classics to call for a write up and a recommendation to check them out on warm spring days. Due to the sunny aspect, most problems often are completely dry at times during the year when other areas at the same elevation are very snowy.

Getting There Suggest change

All of the climbing here is mainly on the hillside between the two switchbacks on Fall River. From Idaho Springs, drive west a mile on I-70, and take Exit 238 (Fall River Road). Drive up Fall River Road past one double switchback. The boulders are visible about a mile after the switchback, facing south on the right hand hillside. Some areas are slightly further up the road, and different directions are listed.
