Description

Currently the crown jewel crag of the area, Cultist Crag has a number of excellent crack climbs current ranging from 5.8 to 5.11+ with potential for a few more mixed lines that currently seem like they'll be 12+ and 13-. Climbs are mostly ~50 feet tall, and the anchors can easily be accessed by walking to the top if you'd like to set topropes on the routes.

The area was named for the cult found at the mouth of the Devil's Head area - The Brotherhood of the White Temple. You may pass the headquarters depending on the approach you take to the crag. If there are any metaphysical members amongst us, many of us would love to be indulged with what the group teaches.

Getting There

Many different approaches are possible - a standard one is still being determined based on Rampart Range parking restrictions, and as development continues, a potential partnership with the USFS on an established trail is likely to be pursued.

Crag Namesake

This crag was named for the Brotherhood of the White Temple cult that resides/resided along Hidden Valley Rd. on the way into the crag.
