Description
Ice and mixed climbing at Parc de la Falaise near Kabir Kouba Falls in Loretteville, near the Village Huron is still unknown to the climbers of the region. A few hours of free time is enough to stretch your legs on this small urban cliff which has about 16 routes of about 15 meters and the approach walk is not even one minute! Top-roping is popular, but almost all the routes can be led on natural protection, except a few which would require some bolts. The sedimentary limestone, similar to the one found in Saint-Alban offers some very challenging overhangs! Be sure to use very long slings to install anchors on the big trees. Kabir Kouba is also an ideal school site to learn mixed climbing, because several rock moves are technical but of moderate difficulty.

Getting There
In Wendake, Huron Village, park at Parc de la Falaise, not at the falls. The parking lot is located in front of Hetayahta Street. Go down the steps and in less than a minute you will be at the top of the tracks. Go around the cliff to the left or right for the ash at the base of the tracks.
