Description

The Bluff Zone contains all the climbs along the tall bluff that lines this whole area. On the far right is the arete where Ghost Rail starts. This bluff faces downhill towards the river and the Pumpkin Boulder.

[old description for warmup-hangout zone] The central cluster of boulders under the powerlines, with a high density of boulders all within eyesight. It's a cool little spot to both warm up and also to hang out :) With classics like the Mono Arete, Ghost Rail, Hole in One, Left This Way, and one of the best slabs ever, you could spend the whole day here. The main boulder that you can walk all the way around (the obvious central boulder) is hereby known as the Pumpkin Boulder; it has about a dozen climbs around all 360° of the bloc.
