Description

Always sunny except when cloudy, pretty dry unless its wet, solid rock until it crumbles. A neat, triangular butte with a soon-to-be classic rock climb.

Getting There

Bright Angel Trail to base of Coconino, hike east to Shoshone Point and walk towards Newton. Alternate approach is using the Shoshone Point Route, that description can be found in a book about Grand Canyon Summits.
