Description
This is a secluded little valley with some very impressive cliffs. Many easy ridges to climb/scramble. Tons of potential here for multipitch. The rock is granite, and so far is seems to be on the lower quality side. Make sure you're confident in the grades and can be efficient.
Getting There
Drive to the village of Artavaz (1hr 20 from Yerevan. The valley will be on your right (you'll see the cliffs) take the right road that will lead you to the opening of the valley. Park your car and walk towards the cliffs following a river. When the bush gets thick/ river gets steep, scramble up on the ridge on your right (class 1/2) or walk up the steep slabs (less fun) It should take about 1.5 hours from car to the base of most climbs.
