Moro Rock (SEKI) and Chimney Rocks usually have nesting closures every year from April 1 to August 15.
As of April 2016, all routes are open to climbing.
Description
This is a small collection of boulders across the street from the Canyon View turnout. You walk past them on the approach to Tombstone Rock. The Graveyard is not on the same level as the world class bouldering found down at Road's End. But if you're looking for some shorter problems with flat landings and don't care that there's nothing really harder than V6, this area might be of interest. The rock tends to be pretty dirty in this area, brushes and eye protection are helpful.
Getting There
Park at the Canyon View turnout, located on Hwy 180 about one mile after (east of) the turn for the Visitor Center and Cedar Lodge. Cross the street and walk east a bit before cutting into the forest to the boulders. Some of the boulders are visible from the road. This area is walking distance from the Moraine Campground.
