Description
Corteo is a peak located between Maple Pass and Black Peak. While the approaches are steep and the rock quality isn't great, the summit boasts excellent views of Black and Goode.
If doing the SW Ridge route, there are camping spots near Lewis Lake or the north side of Wing Lake.

Getting There
Take highway 20 to the Rainy Pass/Maple Pass trailhead and park here. NW Forest pass is required. Follow the trail to Lake Ann. If doing the SW Ridge route, bear right where it forks and follow the trail to Heather Pass. Go over Heather Pass and cross the snow field (early season) or talus (late season) to Lewis Lake. If continuing on to Wing Lake, navigate around the lake to the clump of trees below Black Peak.
