Moderate routes, short approach

Getting There

Follow the approach for The Bubble. Once on the fire trail, about 100 yards before the Bubble (GPS 38.65070, -122.60998) turn left on a trail towards a large rocky overlook. Drop in towards the overlook, and turn right just before the overlook on a trail that takes switchbacks to the crag. When trail turns to slab, take a hard left to continue the switchback trail. Follow until the switchback turns back right and The Claw (aka Chipmonk) formation becomes visible.
