9-Mile Crag Suggest change

Crumbly, ledgy and vegetated wall a ways above Egg Rock (directly behind it, out of sight from the road). Some decent routes, though neglected by now.. and all could use a scrubbing.

There are two aspects of the wall, a left (west) one, which is more uphill and then a right one, which faces the river. The river side one gets more shade as it's protected by several large trees.

NOTE: there are several routes at this wall, but most have been reclaimed by the Canyon (by way of moss). We went up right as a rainstorm rolled in, so I've only posted the one easy route we romped up. Reference pg. 316 of Kramar's 4th edition guidebook for detailed info.

Getting There Suggest change

Find the trail near Fuzz Boulder just upstream from Egg Rock. Trend rightward and up over a gentle rib, following faint game trails. The wall is surprisingly easy to find just following your nose, but the trail sucks.
