Description Suggest change

Sunny area out of town. Good mix of climbs from 5.7 - 5.10+. Detailed info and topos available on Northern Exposure website by Francois Laplante (who also established most climbs here with friends). Most climbs are low angle on sharp rock with anchors set far back, so expect lowering here to put some wear on your rope.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive down the Snaring road past the campsites until it turns into a dirt road. Access here is dynamic with construction. Eventually you will reach a point where the road becomes one way and you will have to wait for your appropriate window (detailed on the sign for the Celestine trailhead).

After this point you'll eventually hit a big u-turn on an exposed, cliffy section overlooking jasper lake. Once you start heading down the hill you will see the crag on your left. Park on the right by the open field, off of the road itself.

The crag is above the larger, lower (chossy) cliffband. Follow the powerlines up to the second pole then 100-200m after head right up some scrambly terrain to top out the lower cliffband you could see from the car. Head towards the obvious slabs uphill from the cliffs.
