Description Suggest change

This area includes the cliff directly south of the summit, the top forming the base of the summit rock climbs, along with the large SE pillar, which hold the longest lines in the area.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the approach directions to reach the summit of Mount Savage. To reach the base of the Lower Tier from the summit, head briefly back down the trail and scramble down talus and boulders to the base along the SE side. This can also be reached from the base of the Summit Rocks by bushwacking to the southwest around several boulders to the base. It is not advisable to scramble down the gully that splits the Lower Tier, as it is very loose with duff and rock.
