Description Suggest change

Cheesman Mt. is a big mountain with a medium amount of rock. Unlike the majority of Goose Creek, the granite up here is finer grained and pretty similar to Turkey Rocks. Expect long, arduous hikes but plenty of solitude and incredible views.

Getting There Suggest change

From the entrance of FR211, drive down the road for about a mile until you come to a split with some large mailboxes. You can either park at the Upper Cheesman Canyon trailhead on the left, or there is a pullout about 100 yards or so past the mailboxes if you take the right split.
