Access Issue: Temporary Closure Details

Park is temporarily closed due to the recent rains.

Description

In the middle of nowhere, uphill and east of The Backyard - you are better off driving to a different parking spot.

Getting There

Park along Palmyrita Avenue a little before the intersection with Spring Mountain Road, cross the walking path and head up the hillside parallel to the concrete drainage until the crest of the hill and a view of the Mystery Ship Boulder - the crag will now be visible.

Continue uphill a little more then drop down into a wash which is followed until easier to leave the wash and continue uphill along donkey trails to the base of the crag.
