Description
This is a huge area! Future subareas will be needed once development fully happens. The blocks here are super neat! They have nice ledges (jug/sloper), awesome pockets, and hard topouts. Some faces also have big throws and reaches with makes it haven for taller climbers! This area dries out a lot quicker (in winter time at least) and is not subjected to snow and wet rock.
I will say this rock will need lots of cleaning. It is naturally sandy. Exploding holds are expected, so come prepared with crashpads and spotters.
I will put some problems here in the future. There is a ton of potential here, this section of Hilltop is very large and hosts many future problems.
Getting There
Take Sadie's (Trail K10) out from Devil's Canyon parking lot. There is a fence that you need to cross. THIS IS NOT PRIVATE PROPERTY!, just a different marking for the BLM land. There should be a metal gate and an opening near it in the fencing to cross here. Then continue on some footpaths around to the K7 Trail. Follow this trail, you will find a wooden information board. Continue this way until you find a drainage (a cairn marks it). From here, follow the drainage up to the cliffband.
Just reference the approach trail for extra clarity!
