Description
A nice boulder and a great place to practice cam placement or enjoy some moderate bouldering.
Getting There
From the campground head southeast toward the Nature Loop Trail, follow for 1/8th mile which is half way through the loop, merge onto a trail called the Cochise Trail (and on some maps such as Google will call it the Sky Island Traverse Trail.) Shortly after this you will cross a (likely) dry stream bed, where the trail will continue with the stream bed on the right. Cross the bridge. Link up with Cochise for a few minutes and it will be on your left.
If you continue for another 1/3 mile and you will come to a large cluster of boulders that are off of the right side of the trail. This is where the majority of the Cochise Boulder Trail Boulders are. They are between the trail and stream bed and then continue to the other side of the stream bed.
