Description

These two subareas are essentially the same dome formation of topropeable boulder problems but with polar opposite settings. Brick Wall offers full sun right off the interstate (put on a good show for folks on I-70 East!), while the Alcoves offer slightly quieter seclusion and shade.

Getting There

Head west on I-70 as if you were heading to White Cliff (past the second Frisco exit, but before you reach Copper Mtn.). After the mile marker 200 sign, keep an eye on the right for a wall of cut stone. Immediately after this road cut, pull over into a grassy clearing at the base of some whitestone slabs.
