Like many areas in the desert, the soft Dakota sandstone here is very fragile and porous, and especially so after recent rainfall - climbs could be permanently damaged or destroyed if climbed on while wet. Additionally, avoid using a wire brush to clean off lichen.
Description
This subarea includes small boulders and short slabs to the south (right) of the main boulder. There are okay warm-ups, but bushwacking is required.
Getting There
Head south from the Compression Boulder on the Main Boulder. There's a short slab soon to the left with a couple smaller boulders about 100-200 feet further.
