Description

The Evan Zhao Phun Zone is the first featured area of the Lake Crescent landslide boulders. Named after the late Evan Zhao, this area features two boulders - the Z boulder and the E boulder. The Z boulder is the slightly smaller boulder closer to the road and the E boulder is the one right behind it. Features fun, pebbly climbing.

Evan Zhao was an accomplished Washington Climber who unfortunately lost his life at the age of 22 after a climbing accident in the Cascades. Evan was a unique man who loved to have fun and make others smile. It was an honor to grow up with you man, I hope you're living it up wherever you are.

So in the name of Evan, crack a cold one, layback, and have fun at the Evan Zhao Phun Zone.
