Description

This is the first main area you will get to on the approach trail. Look for a giant boulder with a tall, overhanging east face and a slabbier west face.

Getting There

From the parking area, hike up the road a short distance. Once you pass the "No motorized vehicles beyond this point" sign, turn left (west) and pick up a faint trail. Cross the creek and continue on a mostly faint trail up a steep gully. Eventually, the trail will level out and you'll cross a clearing to reach the Sequoia Area. You can also use the GPS track in the MP map for assistance.
