Description

On the edge of Appalachia, this region of Ohio is mostly known for the coal industry! However, state, county and private parks offer climbers a wide range of climbing opportunities! Salt Fork State Park and Raven Rocks are the regions gems! The high-quality sandstone boulders located in this region are a must visit for any climber!

There are lots of areas scattered throughout the eastern side of the state within striking distance from Interstate 70!
