Description

A large boulder directly off the trail, there is a decent-sized roof on the side closest to the trail. Around the backside of the boulder opposite of the trail, there is a small roof with a couple of problems. This boulder is in an area with several others, including the Woolly Mammoth boulder.

Getting There

From the parking lot, take the trail to the right just as you are pulling in. Following the trail as it bears to the left. About a quarter-mile down the boulder will be to your left and Furnace Brook will be down and to your right.
