Description
This area is named after a lone boulder that has a unique texture, just outside of town. Supposedly there are some other boulders in the area.
Getting There
Park on the side of the road before the handrail at the mouth of Tumwater Canyon, roughly 100 yards after the Wilkommen sign and Icicle Junction. Go down the trail by the handrail, taking a faint right turn as the slope lessons. Follow the trail 50 meters or so, passing some smaller rocks and some trees. The boulder is between the road and the top of the hill that leads down to the river, so it's impossible to not find it as long as you go right.
