Description
Ay is a quality vertical wall with technical face climbing on grey rock at moderate grades. As of 2020 this crag consisted of 10 routes with grades ranging from 6a+ to 6c+. The cliff is south facing but receives an afternoon shadow cast by the larger cliff face overhead. The short approach and peaceful setting make this a wonderful spot for a day of climbing.
Getting There
5 minutes.
Ay is the closest crag to the road on the large and obvious cliff band that hosts most of the routes in the area. Look for a karen on the side of the road near the point where this band of limestone drops down to the stream bad at. Follow a well used trail through the forest 50 m left off a cliff. A number of switchbacks will eventually bring you to the base of the crag.
