Description

A surprisingly good collection of multipitch climbs on gneiss. Mostly bolted, but several crack climbs as well. A detailed topo is available at:

The rock quality is good. Gneiss, but surprisingly textured, so relatively easy to rest while climbing.

Getting There

Drive to Salvan (near Martigny) and choose a parking area that is convenient for your target climbing area.

There is a large parking lot at the entrance of the Village on the road named 'Chemin des Dames', which is convenient for many of the climbs.
