Description

Spliff Spire is an exciting little treat stashed on the bottom shelf of Boynton Canyon. It'll get you a little high and the summit pitch will give you a quick head rush.

Getting There

Approach: about 1 hour.

Park at Boynton Canyon Trailhead and hike about 2 miles up Boynton Canyon Trail. When the trail makes a big left turn [34.9266 N, 111.8589 W], leave it and head right to cross the main wash into a side drainage. Head 0.25 miles due north up this side drainage and look for the spire sticking out of the cliffs just above you on the left. Location of the spire is [34.9305 N, 111.8592 W]
