Description Suggest change

This south facing crag is the home crag for many people in Graz and can often be crowded after work. There are about 90 routes ranging from 5.3 to 5.12. This regional climbing area is easily accessible and great for beginning climbers or a trip after work. Some routes are marked on the wall with spray paint.

As with many limestone climbs in Steiermark, watch out for loose rock.

Getting There Suggest change

drive out of Graz on B67 (by car) or R2 (by bike). Turn right after the sport complex down a gravel road to the the parking lot (~15 spots and a bathroom). Follow the trail across the meadow for about 5 min uphill (this wil lead to the left side of the wall). To access the right side follow the trail across the meadow, walk along the edge forest until you hit another gravel road. An obvoius path leads up left towards the wall. It is also possible to walk along the base of the wall to access the different areas.
