Description

Tau-gu(TAH-GOO) was a headman of the Southern Paiute tribe in the 1870s. This climbing area is just to the east of Meltdown Dome and offers some good climbs with shade in the afternoon and evening.

Getting There

Either park your car for Meltdown dome and walk around the north side of the formations (longer) or drive past the Meltdown Dome parking lot and take the next right on a high clearance road until you're closest to the dome (No parking lot there).
