Yellowknife is the capital city of the Northwest Territories and is home to a couple small crags and boulders in and around the city limits. The climbing season is quite short, starting in late early- to mid-May and ending in early October. The weather is fairly mild with an average of 20C and has a fairly dry climate which makes for some good climbing.
