Description Suggest change

Unicorn Peak is the highest peak in the Tatoosh Range offering a fun mellow day climb that provides commanding views of Tahoma and much of the SW Washington Cascades. In early season it is a good mix of hiking, snow travel, and low 5th class rock climbing. Overall it is a more interesting and enjoyable climb when there is decent snow pack on the approach, especially the couloir leading to the Tatoosh crest.

Getting There Suggest change

Can be approached from the Bench Lake/Snow Lakes TH (~6 mi. roundtrip). Or it can be approached from the Tatoosh crest by hiking up the Pinnacle Peak trail and making a long traverse SE along the crest via a decent meandering way trail.
