Description Suggest change

A nice two level sector facing the reservoir with beautiful lake views. This sector has a high density of easier climbs on mostly vertical and slab limestone of decent quality. There are about 10 climbs on the lower level ranging from 5.9 to 5.11b and the second level (starting from a giant ledge accessible from topping out any of the lower level climbs) has another 5 or so climbs from 5.10b to 5.11a. Many of the climbs are long (30+ meters) and have an amazing sense of exposure given the way the cliff is positioned over the lake. The wall gets morning sun and afternoon shade. The other areas are on the other side of the ridge so should get the opposite.

Getting There Suggest change

From the parking lot in the fenced off area next to the reservoir turn and look back behind you. The cliffs up above you are where you are going. Walk down the dirt road away from the cliffs about 10 meters (30ft) and look for a little trail on the left angling up through some vegetation. After about 10 meters there is a small toilet. From there the trail angles back towards the cliff and you will come out of the vegetation and see a short limestone cliff with a notch in it. There is a cable bolted to the notch to allow you to clip in via ferrata style. DO NOT TOUCH THIS CABLE WITH YOUR HANDS. It is covered in metal needles that have flaked off due to carabiners running over it. You can use gloves if you have them. Traverse right along the cliff and go through the notch. You will then find a well worn trail that switchbacks it's way up to the middle of the wall. The whole approach is 10-15 minutes.
