Poire Droite Rock Climbing

Heading up valley from the main Ailefroide camping area, just before crossing the bridge over the damn, look for a dirt road paralleling the river on the left. Follow this narrow dirt road to its end, staying right at any forks. The GPS coordinates for this area indicate the parking. From the parking start two trails. Take the right hand one toward the river. It will quickly become parallel to the river and cross two streams, the second may be dry, but it has a small wooden bridge to mark it. After the second stream the hillside opens up to meadow and a trail will fork left toward the obvious Poire Droite buttress. Follow it to the base of your route.
