Description

The crown jewel of the area and center of the Condoriri Formation (appearing from the South as a condor's head and wings). You'll want to climb it as soon as you see it.

Getting There

From Laguna Chiar Khota, find the trail headed toward Condoriri as it weaves its way up the moraine. On top of the moraine, follow the ridge to the NW until it disappears into a scree slope. There is a faint trail that switches back up this slope until reaching the base of the cliff above. From there, hug the cliff and go over two saddles before descending down to the glacier. Follow the climber's right edge of the glacier past rocks until directly below the Cabeza de Condor.
