Description

Very scenic valley with all manners of climbing. Some of the rock is highly suspect and care should be taken on the more remote routes, especially in winter.

Getting There

Accessed from L'Argentière-la-Bessée. Depending on the season, one can either drive quite far in to the valley or (in the winter) the road may be blocked after the first parking lot. Winter approach can then be made via either touring skis or snowshoes. If skis are used, the descent will still be work, as the path meanders up and down.
