Description Suggest change

This is the 'Main Area' at Dschunglebuch. It comprises the left to middle portion of the wall.

Expect crimpy, polished, and in my opinion, sandbagged routes. The style takes some getting used to, but the reward factor is high once you get the requisite finger strength.

Be aware that on windy days there can be rockfall from the large, complex slopes above. Animals can knock rocks down at any time as well. Stand close to the wall when possible, and it is fine. I also recommend a helmet for the belayer at least.

Getting There Suggest change

Park in the large parking near Martinsbühel. From the A12, take the exit towards Seefeld (and Germany through Garmisch) onto 177. Exit from this subhighway for Zirl (onto 171). At the stop sign, turn left. Continue down this road for a few hundred meters until there is a parking on the right. Dschungelbuch will be obvious on your left, after the quarry. If you drive past the huge mutipitch area, you've gone too far.

After parking, cross the road and go through the gate.
