Description
Nice shady spot right on Lewis Creek. The main boulder cluster here hosts a number of moderate classics, some warm-ups, and a couple highballs in a peaceful setting. Less concentrated than the Upstream areas, but with a lot more climbable rock spread out around the creek. The main area is essentially one semi-circle with 1) lowball boulder with some warm-ups facing the creek on the left, 2) a highball boulder with a classic v3 on it behind this boulder, and 3) a perfect oblong boulder with problems on all sides right on the creek (used to have a bigger landing before the fire/flooding I seem to remember).
Getting There
There are a few ways, the easiest directions for a first time visit are as follows: Head down the dirt access road on the left of the main parking pullout past a forest service gate. Keep bearing left until you are prompted to cross Lewis Creek. Immediately turn right after crossing the creek, follow a narrow side trail downstream for a couple minutes until you reach the obvious creekside bouldering.
