Description
Pronounced "Sujuk", this area offers plenty of both moderate and hard sport routes in one of the highest quality limestone available at Datça. The features are diverse, with plenty of overhangs and interesting movements involving big edges, sidepulls and jugs. It's located deep in the valley and is easy to get to, thanks to its 5 minutes approach from the parking area. At the moment there are 21 routes in this sector, 10 of which are graded between 7a and 7c+.
Precaution is needed when getting to the parking area, as the bee farmers leave the hive boxes lined in the same area during the honey season.
Getting There
Follow the road past the start of the approach to Can Baba. After approximately 5 minutes, right next to a sharp left turn there will be 2 small road extensions in different levels. These terraces are used to line the hive boxes. Please park your car so it won't interfere with the farmer's vehicles and again, be quick on your transition paying attention to any swarm of bees. Walk to the end of the upper terrace and you should see the path initially going up among the bushes. The coordinates for the parking spot are 36.715568, 27.602870.
