Description
If you're looking for a backcountry adventure. Look no further. The Geode Dome is the largest dome in the Mineral Mountains and is home to only 2 climbs (as far as I'm aware). 'Delayed Reaction' travels up the prominent arch on the left of the massive wall and 'The Gods Must be Crazy' travels up the gigantic arch on the right of the wall.
Expect an adventure!!! The rock is suspect, the protection doesn't look that great, and the area is very remote.

Getting There
Disclaimer: There is NO EASY WAY to get to the dome.
Park at the Rock Corral Day Use Area. From there, take the trail on the northeast end of the parking lot and get ready for bushwacking. Follow the trail as far as you can until you've reached the back side of the Jurassic Dome. Then continue 2 1/2 hours east, uphill, while fighting with branches, undergrowth, loose dirt, cacti, pine needles, and facefulls of spidewebs until you reach the base of the wall.
I'm sorry I can't give more straightforward information on the approach. (You signed up for an adventure, remember?)
Lucky for you, the Geode Dome dominates the horizon. You literally can't miss it. Just keep bushwacking until you reach it.
