Description Suggest change

Inside the National Park so there is a fee. There are several massive, volcanic boulders in this valley and great places to string a hammock and relax with friends. Lots of shade and very secluded. A few anchors are on what a few of us are calling "the Brick house" (the last reddish boulder to the right that has so many intersecting cracks that it looks like laid brick) TRAD ONLY. Mostly undiscovered problems and routes ranging from v1-v5.
  • *This National Park has a very small window of nice weather to allow plants and wildlife to grow before over 40' of snow covers everything, so please give plants a chance and leave no trace.

Getting There Suggest change

Driving Clockwise around Rim Road, you'll pass Cleetwood Cove parking lot and after 0.7 miles see a long paved pull out on the left. Park here and at the west side see a small trail leading to the first boulder 50' down and to the left. Follow the "trail" to the right to find plenty more behemoths within 200'.
