Description
This big boulder is right next to the winter parking lot about 1.5 miles in from the Wild Basin gate. This huge boulder has tons of problems from V0 to way harder than I can climb.
Getting There
To get to the Boxcar Boulder, park at the winter parking lot. This is on the dirt road 1.5 miles in from the gate. You'll recognize it as it is the only parking area with parking on both sides of the road. If you have reached the bridge over the creek, you went 30 seconds to far. At the end of the lot closest to the entrance station is a green metal gate with a few no parking signs. Walk up this road about 1 minute, and you'll see the boulder off to your left.
Do not walk up the road that says "Private Residence" where you can see a few houses. This is the wrong entrance. Head back toward the parking lot, it is the other end of the lot.
