Description
This is an overhung granite boulder with several quality problems. The Hermit is set off from the other boulders in the park, but it's a nice walk. If you climb V5, it's worth the trip.
Getting There
After a 10 minute walk from the Jericho Road gate, take a left onto the blue blazed trail. Follow that trail for less than 15 minutes. The trail slopes gently downhill, and near the bottom, at the second disintegrating cairn, look right. The boulder is visible (just barely in the summer!) about 300 feet east of the trail.
