Description Suggest change

A large island located 1-2 hours ferry ride from the port of Rafina near Athens. Most of the island is covered in low-quality green schist but there are a few places where climbing is possible. Everything I have climbed so far is DWS (watch out for sea urchins!!!) There may be many other pieces of climbable rock so please explore and add to this page.

DO NOT CLIMB THE SEA STACK! You may see pictures of a short tower of rock near the shore. It's a nice beach to visit and a nice tower to look at but please don't climb it. The rock is extraordinarily soft, the water is only 1m deep, and a recovery effort to get your mangled body back to the road would be very involved. Congrats to the guy who got his ascent on his GoPro. Live vicariously in this instance.

Great place to get married!

Getting There Suggest change
