Description
This south facing crag is secluded and sunny. You come in from the top due to the loose talus approaches from the east, west, and south. Even the top down approach is a bit dodgy so wear appropriate foot wear. There are some good lines here that are worth the talus navigation. There is also a tower! Now being called Hadron Tower, this rock has some fine moderates on it.
Getting There
Take USFS Rd. 021 off the main road and follow it to the wood rail fence. Go north around the fence and right back to the road you were on. Follow this until you reach a man made clearing. Go a bit farther and then park just left of some very large debris piles (camp fire wood). There is a fire ring and stumps here for camping. The trail leads south through the trees to the talus above the crag. Follow the cairns through this field to an anchor and a fixed line. Rap or down climb the chimney here using the rope (5.6). From veihcle to the bottom of the chimney is about 10 minutes. This puts you in the middle of the wall and there are/will be many lines here to choose from.
