Description Suggest change

The highest peak in the Sweetwater Rocks, McIntosh Peak, 8,058 ft, is a fun and beautiful, sticky sneaker scramble. Especially nice is a traverse of the West Ridge to East Ridge from Miller Pocket and the Moonstone. High quality, wind polished granite and resilient flora adds to the fascination.

The North Face of McIntosh Peak could hold new moderate 3 pitch routes in slabby corners, and maybe even an ice or mixed climb in winter.

Surely boulderers can find wind polished grimps under steep blocks on the exposed Northwest Side !
