This area contains a high density of climbs with a spacious belay terrace.

Per Anus Herder: the "Right Side" of Dry Creek is all the climbing found (looker's) right of the main decent trail. This area contains a high density of climbs with a spacious belay terrace, Don't miss the area classics Learning Curve, 5.7, Gritstone Arete, 5.11, and Simple Physics, 10+ if you climb the grade! There are lots of great arete climbs on this sector and the hardest route in Montrose, "Benny Fairchild Illusion". Happy climbing.

Getting There

BLM signage marks the approach to the clifftop parking area. Walk skier's right from your parked car to find a mellow descent fissure.
