Description Suggest change

This area is not described in the 2013 guidebook (no climbs existed here when it was published). The area called The Fun House is in the book and the description below references it.

Below the Fun House is a cliff face which is below (northeast of) The Fun House - Left. Some of Below the Fun House cliff can be seen from above; various parts of its top are between 60 and 100 feet out from the base of The Fun House. This lower cliff face has multiple aspects, some of which face northeast and some of which face north.

Most of the routes here face north and do not get sun. The sole exception is the route Lung-ger which faces east and gets morning sun.

Getting There Suggest change

Approach the base of Below the Fun House by way of a steep downhill hike from The Burst Rock Trail. Leave that trail to the left where it makes its major right turn about 100 feet before the turn-off to Green Acres (note: the placement of this crag in order before the Green Acres and Fun House areas is made because one leaves the Burst Rock Trail to reach this crag before one leaves the Burst Rock Trail to reach Green Acres).

After exiting the trail, walk past the south (right) side of the obvious, low, rocky knoll shown in the map on page 74 of the 2013 guidebook. The ground starts dropping 200 feet northeast of this knoll. The drop is gradual at first and then steep. A wide gully between broken cliffs (Broadway Gully) leads directly downhill 100 yards to flatter, forested ground (pass Toller Tower on the right, halfway down Broadway Gully). Once on flatter ground, move 100 yards to the right/southeast, along the base of a broken cliff band and through boulders, to this Below the Fun House cliff.
