This cliffs is under the liability insurance of the Fédération Québécoise de la Montagne et de l'Escalade (FQME).

Residents of Canada need to have:
-FQME 'Accès Montagne' membership (55$)
-For members of the Alpine Club of Canada an FQME 'Accès Montagne' upgrade (30$)
Or purchasing a 10$ day pass.

This money is used to pay the liability insurance for landowners regardless if they are private citizens, municipal or provincial.
The maintenance of cliffs and their access, replacing of fixed protection.

Description

A small crag, with over 10 routes, all worth it, from 5.3 to 5.10b.
Topropes are easily set with a nice and short trail to the top. You can trad climb your way up, or climb one of the newly fully bolted sport routes.
An ideal place for beginners or new trad climbers.

Une petite falaise, avec plus de 10 voies, toutes bonnes, de 5.3 à 5.10b.
Les moulinettes sont faciles à installer et le chemin qui mène au sommet est court et agréable. Vous pouvez faire du trad ou grimper dans l'une des nouvelles voies sportives entièrement équipées.
Un endroit idéal pour les débutants ou les nouveaux tradistes.

Getting There

From the main parking of the Mont Jacob, take the path at the end of the road. Take left on the intersection, keep going. An other left. Keep going, and you should see a sign "escalade" pointing left. A little scramble (with an old fixed yellow rope) will brint you to the base of the cliff.

Depuis le stationnement principal du Mont Jacob, prendre le chemin au bout de la route. Prendre à gauche à l'intersection, continuer. Une autre à gauche. Continuez, et vous devriez voir un panneau "escalade" indiquant la gauche. Une petite grimpette (avec une vieille corde jaune fixe) vous amènera au pied de la falaise.
