Description
Fun limestone sport climbing within walking/biking distance of downtown Helena. These climbs were developed with permission from Helena Parks and Recreation. No further route development is permitted unless authorized by the City of Helena. Please respect this, as well as other trail user groups. Climbers are the newest addition to the heavily used park, making a good impression is important!
Special thanks to everyone involved in the development process especially our corporate donors and sponsors: Stone Tree Climbing Center, The Helena Tourism Alliance, and Helena Climbers Coalition. Additional thanks to those that gave generous personal donations and volunteered their time to make the dream of climbing in our "backyard" a reality. If you are interested in further supporting this project or others please join and donate to the Helena Climbers Coalition helenaclimberscoalition.org/ and find our local climbing community on Facebook: Helena Climbers Coalition.

Getting There
This climbing is located within a 20-30min hike of the main Mount Helena Trailhead parking area. Park at the trailhead, and walk up the 1906 trail (main trail to the top of Mt. Helena) for about 20-30 min just past the "devils kitchen cave" until the rock meets the trail. Climbs start here.
